Consumer Panels

Sometimes research companies and firms retain a group of consumers in specific sectors who are used as respondents to answer specific research questions relating to product testing, taste testing, ad testing or other areas. They are generally a specialist panel who participate in several projects. Consumer panels are particularly useful for fast short, surveys where a specialist rather than probability sample is required.
